Whirlpoolspecifications claim it IS fingerprint resistant! They advertise it that way so they are trying to fool the public if it is not print resistant.

This stove is finger print resistant compared to traditional nonsealed steel surface. Prints wipe off without issues. For anyone who knows true unfinished stainless steel, good luck removing finger prints.
