• This makes no sense. The fan should not check during air fry. The fan should run continuously and the heating element should cycle. Otherwise, what's the difference between air fry and convection cooking???

• I have had this range for about two months now. I had the same question. It is my understanding this is normal. Your range top also turns on and off. The Whirlpool team told me this was to maintain the set temperature. Hope this helps.
