We too have been a bit dismayed that the stainless steel on our new Refrig., stove, and dishwasher show smudges and fingerprints so much. MFG does in fact mention the issue but we never anticipated how much. Our “remedy” was to buy a lg pack of reusable micro lint free cloths at Lowes and use a limited mist of vinegar in a spray bottle. Another note: If crud on stovetop… ALWAYS use a new scrapper razor blade to remove it or risk scratches over time. We do clean more aften; perhaps not a bad thing in our case…
