• Finger PROOF? That term implies "you'll never have ANY fingerprints". I'd say NO. It's VERY fingerprint RESISTANT. Meaning you'll see some spots left from hands and fingers (especially on the top Glass controller) but in general it does a great job of hiding fingerprints; unlike many other stainless fronts that would be good for crime scene teams focusing on where to lift prints .... If you get my drift.

• Yes it is finger proof. I would however do more research on the scratch factor. I was told after the fact that black stainless is a varnish and when scratched can not be repaired. I do not have scratches now since I have only had it 1 month but I think that it would have made a difference in my purchase. I just love the color and I also bought because it was finger proof.
