Mine stove sits at 35 and 1/8 inch (which the raised edge around the cooktop makes up that 1/8 inch) and also makes it an 1/8 inch higher than my counter. I have no issue with this as I use silicone edge guards on both sides to prevent food from dropping down between the stove and counter. Friends have complimented that it looks nice. The feet of the stove are adjustable (not by much - literally) to help get the stove level. I have had the stove for several months now and it works great (my first glass top). Additional tip my sister let me in on... I use Bartender's Keep (soft liquid) to keep the top clean and it still looks like new. Best regards!
