“How often should the filter be changed, does it effect the freezing system?”

Your refrigerator should have a light system set up, green means filter is ok red means it needs to be changed. Check your owners manual or a Best Buy Representative for further questions.

It lasts for 6 months. The light in the refrigerator will turn red when it's time to change. It filters the ice too.

It should be changed everything 6 months and it doesn't effect the freezing system.
