QuestionCan this compactor be used without being under the counter?

- Answer You can plug this in and use it anywhere. The sides, back and top are not finished to be exposed. It won’t look pretty but it will function.

QuestionA previous question asks the dimensions and was answered as 34" cutout height but the manual (seems all manuals use the same image) and show 34 1/4" height. Which is correct? I have just over a 34" cutout for the height.

QuestionWhen opening the door, does it go up and then out, or does it pull straight out? We had a problem with another model where the whole front door has to go up first then out, thus making it impossible to fit under standard height countertop.
