I think it depends on the humidity. I first installed mine in early spring and saw very little water come out of it for a few months. Lately it's been extremely humid in my area and I ended up installing a hose off the main drain port into a bucket. Over the last two weeks, I've had to dump that bucket at least once per day and it holds a gallon. It has been averaging 50 to 70% humidity in my area during that time
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you live in a state that has low humidity CA or TX for example. It states in the manual up to 70% humidity. I have only had it 2 weeks so far and have been running it fairly regularly as it has been very hot and no evaporation, but I live in CA.
