Yes, this model will fit both vertical and horizontal windows sized 26.5''-48''.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nope.. It exhausts the hot compressor air out the house with the window kit provided... The cold air comes from the back thru the filters into the system and then blows out the front. The machine does have a window kit with it and everything you need. Instead of installing up and down like mine. My windows open and close left to right. You would install the kit left to right so the window closes on the top to seal the kit in. You just need to make sure the kit is long enough with the specs.. Otherwise you might have to order a bigger kit from the factory. Just measure the window from left to right inside the frame then look at the longest measurement with this unit in its specs, and you will know if the longest part is long enough for the window. Hope this helps. I have had mine for 1 month and love it. Also watch the price for a price match... Mine was $650 then after i ordered it it went to $460... Best Buy Online price matched it when i called them.
