• Hello Valued Customer, Thank you for your question. The cord will need to be within 10-12 Amps, and the gauge will vary compared to the length. For 25ft will you use an 18 gauge, 50ft you will use 16 gauge, 100ft you will use a 14 gauge, and with 150ft you will use a 12 gauge. Anything over 150ft is not recommended for this tool.
