Questiondoes this unit compensate for different sound levels during a program ? example---volume is louder during a commercial.

- Answer It has a compensator for the sound leveling, yes. I’m currently not using it though. You have to realize that sound levels will and should change but, when you use it to level out things like commercials, you will not get the full sound experience of things like movies or music.

- Answer Yes. It has hdmi connections. You hook the Xbox and any other things to the receiver and then the receiver only to the tv through a hdmi

- Answer It has rca inputs in the back for older styles of audio and video sources. I’m sure they would work. There’s also a way to change the names of the sources in the interface via remote with the receiver connected to your tv. You can rename all the inputs as long as you have it connected to your tv via HDMI.

QuestionI understand it comes with 6 speakers . my question is can I add additional speakers if I use a amplifier ? My issue is my basement is somewhat divided and the plan is to put the system in one area and two ceiling speakers in my bar area .

- Answer Should Be able to. The receiver has plus and minus plugs ins for each speaker. Worse case scenario, you would have to splice your speaker,wires into the two wires for the receiver and then plug in.

QuestionWhat are the specs of the speakers in this set (RMS power handling, peak power handling, impedance)? Impedance must be 8 ohms, since that is what the manual says the receiver is designed for.
