“I bought this yesterday and it sounds pretty good but The satellite speaks feel “light”. Is it possible to plug speakers in like my old Bose Acoustamass speakers that are laying around collecting dust. The receiver shouldn’t have an issue supporting them?”

As long as they are connected with standard speaker wire, I cannot see any problem in using them. I agree, they are light. I have not noticed any problems with them though. My previous system had rear channel surround speakers that were smaller but, heavier than these but, the sound coming from them was lesser than the Yamaha. Go figure. I guess you can’t judge a speaker by its weight. Lol.
