I bought this unit about a month and a half ago, my equipment including my TV are older, so i doubt i have any HDCP2.2 cables, but i had no issues getting anything to work. I have Satellite TV receiver, an AppleTV a Roku all connected with cables that have got to be at least 5-6 years old and have had no issues..
