• Check the specs on the MANUFACTURER'S WEBSITE - they provide all of these specs. If you want OUTDOOR speakers .... look into "OUTDOOR ROCK SPEAKERS" ... AS THEY ARE MADE TO WITHSTAND EXTREME TEMPERATURES .... (look here: )

• Well it would be depend of course. Would the speakers be exposed to snow, ice or water? Would they be placed outside in a covered room with a ceiling like an outdoor patio? If it were me I would not place this unit outside in the elements! There are speakers like these that are available for both indoor and outdoor use. You can try Crutchfield.com or Google search "outdoor in wall speakers". Hope this helps good luck.
