A:AnswerThe Bluetooth feature can only connect/recognize only one bluetooth music source at a time. You can use the headphone jack of each of the iPhones to connect to each of the individual LINE 1 through LINE 3 analog RCA input jacks.
A:AnswerSorry, it is an IR remote, though a fairly sensitive one. Why do I mention this? There are IR repeater systems on the market. You can place a receiver module where you need it and you place the transmitter in the closet with the receiver. Ask at Best Buy. They have had them in the past. I don't know qff-hand of a receiver like the Yamaha that has an RF remote. Too bad. This is a really nice receiver for a low end offering. Sensitive and unusually stable FM front end and THD figures that remind you of higher end systems. We listen to the local classical music FM station day and night here and clean performance is important. You would expect that of Yamaha though I think. Have you considered a window in the closet door, mirrors, or fiber optics? Just brain storming a little, or maybe its only a little breeze. Good luck.
A:AnswerBlutooth range is VERY poor. I bought this receiver based on 4.5*, but when I fired up the BT & was walking around with my phone streaming I was severely disappointed. I was replacing a separate old school receiver that had a Sony BM10 blutooth receiver plugged into it. I wanted to upgrade to an "all in 1", but the range was so poor compared to the BM10, I had to take it back. I replaced it with a Sony STR-DH190 that I came across while doing another internet search.. I just fired it up & ran it through the paces. This thing has 5-10 times the range of the Yamaha for the same price. Buy the Sony instead.
A:AnswerThere are 4 sets of RCA stereo type audio inputs, and 1 stereo out. There are connections for 4 speakers (in A and B sets). There is a remote. Not sure what you mean about the RCA audio adapter.
A:AnswerIf you mean you have two sets of 4 ohm car speakers and think it's creates a need for 8 ohm power you're totally wrong. Never hook car speakers up to house recievers without a power converter / governor, you'll blow your speakers.
A:AnswerI bought a Yamaha external amp to do just that. I want to be able to use ALL of the 00 thru 99 volume control. So far I’m not at all impressed with the receiver. Get you a good well taken care vintage pioneer receiver then buy amp to hook up to pioneer receiver with some big beautiful old school RTR speakers..........then you got something. Turn that thing up and wake somebody up accidentally. Aahhhahahahaha.
