• There is not a 3.5 mini plug in on the receiver but it has 4 RCA input plugs on the back and Best Buy sells the "Insignia™ - 6' 3.5mm Mini-to-RCA Stereo Audio Cable - Black" for $10.99 which is what I used for years on my previous cheap stereo system which will work for you.

• No single input plug. Everything on the back for line in is dual channel plug. I ran a single jack out of my computer, which fed two input lines. You should be able to by that type of cable. Not too techno myself but hope this helps- wish I could add a picture
