you know I wish I could answer this question. However I bought this receiver so I could blue tooth some very high end speakers through it. Nothing more, I'd call best buy and ask the Geek Squad or someone in the correct department. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you’re turntable has a pre-amp then yes, you can connect it into whichever channel you like. If not you’ll have to pass the signal through a pre-amp first. In regard to the ground, there’s a little screw on the receiver’s backside (bottom-left corner) for exactly this. Works great with my Audio-Technical AT-LP120XUSB and my 8 ohm Klipsch bookshelf speakers.
