- Answer Sigh As long as it's FAT16 or FAT32 format. Supports WAV (PCM format only) MP3, WMA and MPEG4 (1-2 channel audio only). Sampling rate up to 48 kHz Quantization bit rate is 16 bit only. Will not work with Digital Rights Management (DRM) content. Will not work with an extension cord (device must be connected directly) Will not work with encrypted files. OPERATION OF ALL USB DEVICES CANNOT BE GUARANTEED.

QuestionI see this powers 145w to each channel. I only plan to run two passive speakers and a powered sub. If I get speakers that require over 145w, is there a way to connect two of the channels together to add up to 290w?

- Answer No you can't do that unless you want to smoke the amplifier section of the receiver. Just hook on speaker to the Left main, and one to the right main, and use your pre-amp sub out plug and go. Just because your speakers are rated for over 145wpc, they will should play just fine with the power this receiver has.

- Answer It's a 5.1 AVR. That means the five (5) speakers you described and one sub woofer (.1 in the 5.1)

- Answer It does not have a phono preamp so unless your turntable has a built in phono preamp or you are running it through an external phono preamp you wouldn't want to connect a turntable directly to the receiver.

- Answer It does not have separate zones (like an A and B). As far as SiriusXM, if you can input it....it can play it.
