“I actually got this receiver today, replace another Yamaha rv373, that stopped working. So I brought it home and a pair of Yamaha nsaw390 speakers. Changed the OHMS to 6. It quit playing after about 5 minutes and will not come back on.”

Turn volume level low before you turn on speakers Make sure no wires are touching (shorted out)
