• according to yamaha its 100 watts per channel. i don't know if thats PEP ( peak envelope peak ) or RMS ( root mean square ) watts. knowing how manufacturers like to over inflate numbers, i suspect its PEP but i don't know that for a fact. so, per channel on a 5.1 receiver, that would be 500 watts.
