I have 5 surround sound speakers built into my ceiling, left front, right front , center and right and left rear. They all have 4 colored wires in individual cable. Can these be connected into this system? If so, how? How many speakers can be included? null

I'm no expert but it sounds like you're using the wrong wires. Most speakers only have red and white out/in ports.

Not sure exactly what cables you are talking about, but yes this receiver supports 5.1, which means 5 speakers like you described, and a subwoofer. Speaker wires can be connected in the back of the receiver. I have the same setup
