- Answer I don’t see why not. If you output to an HDMI equipped projector, it is no different than a monitor as far as the Yamaha unit is concerned. Next consider your video source. I guess you are thinking a laptop streaming content and that would be fine. Of course, the big challenge is protecting the electronics from the elements. You need to keep dust, dirt and rain out but ensure airflow when operating so it does not overheat. Good luck

- Answer I don't see why not. Newer 4k TV's all have HDMI ARC...etc. Just compare the inputs and outputs between this receiver and your TV. One cable (HDMI 2.0) ARC to ARC is all you need.

- Answer go to remote and press the setup button and should look for sound setup, then tap options on remote and you should see tone control, then hit enter and you'll have access to the bass and treble. Up the Irons\m/!!!

QuestionHave a Samsung TV with Apple TV as an external HDMI input. Will this receiver connect to my TV via Anynet+ and when I select my Power for TV, turn this device on and control the volume with one remote. Also shutting down- turn TV off and all turns off?

- Answer Anynet+ is their branding of HDMI Consumer Electronics Control. This AV supports CEC and will turn on/off with the TV via ARC connection if enabled (including volume).

QuestionIs the Rcv385 3D passthrough? My yamaha in the living room is an the model. Sounds decent but may replace it with the RXV385. My never used, open box Rxv681, paired with Klipsch reference theater speakers, will go in the garage/woodshop. Powerful enough?

- Answer Hey there. Depends on your turntable and whether it has a built in preamp or not. If it doesnt I believe you'll need an external preamp to connect your turntable to and then connecting the external preamp to the receiver. This has your standard Audio input cable connections so the connection should work . There is no ground wire connection on the amp if your turntable has that. Hope this helps

- Answer You can adjust the volume, or level, of each speaker. Setting range is from -10.0 dB to +10.0 dB. Once adjusted they will remain that way for any playback unless changed.
