The fingerprint reader works well through this product. Initially setup the fingerprint without the protector then installed the glass sheet. I thought that I might have to re-scan after installing the screen protector but there was no issue with the frigerprint recognition and I did not have to rescan after instalation.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.For the Pixel 6, no problems at all. I honestly noticed no difference in fingerprint sensitivity with or without the ZAGG. Unfortunately that did not hold true for me when I first tried T-Mobile's screen protector (it rarely picked up my fingerprint). With that said, the Pixel 6 is known for slightly sluggish fingerprint sensitivity, but ZAGG's protector didn't make it any worse.
