It is like the tempered glass protector and will have bubbles if not done properly. I don’t think you can use with an outer box
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had my tempered glass installed on my new iPhone 8 Plus & it was worth paying $7.00 to have Best Buy install it. The associate who installed my glass first cleaned my phone then used some kind of tape to get any lint specks off. She had a steady hand and there were no bubbles or lint trapped inside when she was done. I am very happy with the whole process & the results. I have tried in the past to install protectors both soft & glass ones & I always seemed to miss a speck of lint or 2 causing it to appear to have a bubble around it. Then when I tried to remove it to re-clean the phone I broke the glass or in the case of soft protectors smudged them. I hope this helps.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yeah this screen protector is designed to fit the 8 plus with any otterbox protection case. This protector is very firm, has some bend to it but, as well it’s designed this way to benefit the installation process. The thin flimsy protectors are notorious for leaving the trapped bubbles, but this protector with its firm rigidity creates a nice bond with the phone screen. ( One more bit of advise is to make sure all pieces of dust or dirt is off the phones screen before applying this protector, for it will most definitely trap tiny particles like dirt or dust between the two surfaces).
