I had the same issue with my iPad Mini 4 but since installing this Zagg HD screen protector I find that I don't have to clean the screen near as often as I did before.

The screen protector is like a glass protector with a microfiber cloth (comes with the screen protector) all prints come off easily with no scratches. I've even used a cotton t-shirt.

To avoid issues with finger prints you should apply a glass shield screen protector. (Not a plastic one, a glass sheild)

Yes, the Zagg is easily cleaned with a clean cloth and occasional minimal amount of light spray with lens cleaner.

The shield is very easy when removing fingerprints, i use a dry microfiber cloth and it comes right off with a clear clean visual again like new.
