QuestionMy ceiling height is 90". Dimension diagram shows minimum hood height to be 31" for recirculating option. I need 24" if I want to mount it 30" above cooking surface. Is this chimney cover able to be cut down 7" professionally and still function properly?

- Answer Hello, You can, however, you would only be able to cut it down by about 3 inches as the PC board is mounted on top of the motor box and there is no other location to mount the PC board. Thank you for your inquiry! - Zephyr

QuestionIs the duct cover that is sold separately (SKU: 7691733) required? Or does the fan come with a generic duct cover, but if you have a higher ceiling the extra duct cover is required?
