QuestionCan this product be hard wired or do you have to use the outlet? The 36in cord is way too long for my application.

- Answer Hello Oscar! Thank you for reaching out to us! Unfortunately this model cannot be hardwired. A lot of our customers will ziptie the extra length of the chord and place this behind the chimney so it is hidden with the duct. If you do hardwire the range hood, it would void the warranty.
