Not a power brick, but comes with the charging cord, the size is approx a mans hand, thought it is made in China.
The Hario is made in Japan, haven't tried one of those yet.

It is rechargeable. Takes a few hours to charge first time then lasts for a long time. I use it frequently and recharge occasionally. The size is approximately 12x 8 . Just a sleek low profile scale that I like .
