Love these AirPods. Got these when they were on sale. For is great with the medium nibs. Love the adaptive mode. Did the ear exam, turns out I have mild hearing loss in my left ear. Can be used as “hearing aids” but they do feel weird leaving them in all day. I have since followed up with an audiologist, and they confirm and I am being fit for an actual earring aid. The new feature to nod yes or no to answer is also super convenient. My favorite feature by far is the transparency through adaptive mode: just perfect blend of hearing protection and hearing other clearly while still listening to music/podcasts, etc. Connecting them is all the ease expected from Apple. Battery life is excellent, lasts me all day. Find my is great can look for individual AirPods the same way you look for AirTag.

These AirPods last 5-6 hours for me on 1 charge and feel very comfortable in your ear. The box comes with several ear tip options if the default medium size doesn't fit you. The audio quality is amazing on these AirPods and the voices are clear and the instruments sound very smooth. There are very cool features that these AirPods have such as a volume slider/button on the stem part of the AirPods, Noise cancelation that blocks out almost all noise for during my experience using it, transparency mode which allows all sound to pass through into your ear and adaptive mode which is a combination of noise cancellation and transparency. This adaptive mode blocks out background noise such as distant conversations but allows near voices to pass through. I hope this review helped you decide if this product is a good investment.

The improvement over the Gen 1 is night and day, once you feel the sound quality, you’ll never consider other headphones, the noise cancellation is equally amazing, it will completely fade out all noise, and the transparency mode is something I never thought I would need but now I can’t live without, you can listen to music while staying aware of your surroundings this feature is even better when you enable the Adaptive mode which intelligently cancels out really loud noises while keeping awareness of your surroundings. These earbud also have a Spatial Audio mode which makes it so your music sounds like a concert, and your movies feel like you’re at a movie theater, a truly underrated feature. Also battery last forever and then you charge for 5 min and you’re good to go for plenty of hours
