Kool and comfortable!

I tried a couple of other ones like the Shures...but what I like about these is they can fold up for easy carry to the gym. I use these for the gym and conference calls. I haven't really had to used them in a crowded office obviously, but they seem to do a good job at the gym. I was worried they'd heat up my ears, but no, not really. Sound is really good with soundstaging...I used these with Tidal. I think they were made to work with Tidal's master series. It's a bit expensive but compared to the Bose I had years ago, they are so much clearer. There is more definition and it's a lot less muddy bass.

These are the best ones to purchase because of the research I did for the best recommended ones in the market after my last two attempts at finding “the one” mind you, I’m not an electronics person but I was looking to become physically healthy again and needed to find the right tools that will help me make it fun.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to return my first pair since the right headphone was making a wind noise no matter the environment I was in while the ANC was active. Contacted Sony support and they said that this was normal behaviour, but for $350 I'd expect better. They refused to help me, so I returned those and purchased a second pair. I decided to get them again because I hope that I don't run into this problem again. These things are great! I've never had any really premium headphones before, so maybe I'm ignorant, but really, the should out of these is fantastic, the noise cancelling is pretty good, especially in day to day use, and being able to set a custom sound profile is the best. They added multi device support, so you can see listening to something on your computer, and answer a phone call without needing to switch anything, it's all automatic. Tons of features, and for this price point, these are much better than the Bose offerings sound wise. I bought some Bose headphones to compare and these blew those away in every field except the build quality. These have a lightweighr, plastic feel, but you get used to them quick - I stopped noticing after a day or two.

Multipoint doesn't work with iPhone + Mac

I really wanted to simultaneously connect my personal iPhone 11 for music and work M1 MacBook for zoom calls. Unfortunately multipoint doesn't work for an iPhone and a Mac. Others reviewers have been okay with other device combinations, but whenever I played iPhone music I got silence (beautiful noise-cancelled silence I might add!) They didn't seem to want to switch from the MacBook even though it had no audio apps open. So I upgraded the XM4's firmware (via Sony's app), did multiple factory resets, paired and re-paired - but always the same. Spent a day at it, but ultimately returned them. If you don't need multipoint get the XM3's: They're incredibly comfortable and the ANC is unsurpassed.

Best headphones I've ever used

I initially bought them to help me study and it boosts my focus like no other. I use them daily to listen to music and the quality is unlike any other earbuds or headphones I've used before. I love the functionality of the touch panel. It's been about 2.5 years of use and it's held up great, with frequent cleaning in between. I highly recommend these headphones.

Sony, I would pay double if your headphones didn’t break. that’s what happened because I just bought another pair In april. They are already broken again. Your headphones should tolerate a varieties a charging voltages. The charger you provide is a joke. To anyone considering buying these keep your receipt for the love of God do not charge the device with any other cord but the one provided. Non-Apple lightning cords won’t destroy your iPhone. What’s your excuse Sony

Replacing MS surface headphones

Both can connect to 2 devices at a time. I also loved the physical volume knob on the MS headphones. The MS headphones headband snapped due to being made of only plastic; also they cannot handle bass like these. These sound great and can handle bass. I’m careful with headphones but I’ve dropped them multiple times on a wood floor and they are good. They lose connection but it’s rare. Recommended
