Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The ANC is the best I ever heard, I tested it with a loud bathroom exhaust fan and it is able to almost completely remove the noise. You cannot ever hear the toiled flushing! Really, really impressive. Comfort is also exceptional, you can wear it for many hours without even remembering you have it. The sound quality is good for commuters, frequent travelers, and for outdoor listening, which is the main target of this product. However, if you are looking for Hi-Fi, this is not the right product and you should look for brands specialized on high fidelity. Like other reviewers noticed, the bass are not well controlled and the midranges, in particular voices, are muffled. You can correct this in some extent by using the built in app, but overall you will still miss some excitement.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been eyeing these headphones for over a year and finally cracked after my Bowers&Wilkins PX headphones' left ear piece broke off after a couple years of use (ironically, the same thing happened to my B&W P7s...). Anyways, enough about that, let's get into the actual product at hand. Sound quality: the sole reason why I'm giving these headphones 3 stars (I'm usually a 5 star reviewer). The good: Upon first listen, I was quite impressed with the sound stage of these headphones. It is much more immersive than any other headphones I've tried. The low frequencies were the most impressive: there are tones and depths that I haven't found with any other headphones. The bad: although it has a large sound stage, it really lacks in the middle frequencies. Many songs feel almost muted and muddled. I'm often left wanting more from these headphones, as it the sound often feels like it is missing something. The high frequencies are somewhat crisp, yet much less crisp than B&W (granted they are known for being bright and crisp). And as much of a bass head as I am, the bass is perhaps a bit too aggressive. I can see myself getting exhausted during a multi-hour listening session. While these headphones excel on illuminating low frequencies, the mids and the highs are just quite flat. Reading all of the other reviews, I was expecting the sound of these headphones to knock my socks off, but in reality, I am left wanting something more... Noise-cancelling: I'm quite impressed by the noise-cancelling. It blocks out almost all ambient noise, much more than other headphones I've tried. It also does not violate the authenticity of the music nearly as much as other headphones do. Comfort: quite light-weight and comfortable. I could easily wear these for 5+ hours and not be bothered. My one complaint is the size of the ear cups: they are a bit large and do not create as good of a suction as other headphones do. They are also not replaceable, something I admired about B&W's sheepskin ear cups. Accessibility: it took me a bit to figure out how to adjust the volume and turn pairing mode on but for the most part, it is pretty self explanatory. I would prefer actual buttons rather than the tap/slide feature for play/pause and adjusting the volume. I can see this feature deteriorating over time, and I often have to attempt numerous times to actually pause the music. All in all, these headphones have left me feeling empty. While the sound quality is definitely better than most in its class, it has room to be so much better. If I could afford it, I would likely keep these for commuting and travel and pick up a nicer pair of non-noise-cancelling headphones for at home listening. However, I can only afford one pair of headphones. As such, I wouldn't be surprised if I end up returning these and picking up the Bowers&Wilkins PX7's instead. While I don't expect the PX7 to have as immersive of a sound stage, I expect them to be much more honest about the sound. These Sonys just really lack in exposing and appreciating the mids, especially without having impressive high frequencies to make up for this. They are a solid pair of noise-cancelling headphones for your average listener, although I expect audiophiles to be a bit disappointed by them.

To improve the fit during weight training, we recommend adjusting the headband so it sits slightly further forward on your head to create a more secure anchor point when leaning back. Please keep in mind that these headphones are not officially IP-rated for water or sweat resistance, so we suggest wiping the ear pads down after your workout to maintain the material and internal sensors.

The bass is noticeably louder, and the 360 degree audio is cool. I also like how it can switch between two Bluetooth connections and you almost forget you’re wearing them.

I use these at the gym and It helps me get into my zone. Im excited to use these when college classes start, I'll be able to study with no distractions forrealll. Very good to listen casually. I do workout in these from time to time and they are still holding up. Just gotta make sure to wipe it down since it can get very sweaty and wet. I guess if you want it to last longer then i recommend not working out in them. The cups themselves are very very soft and comfortable. I know that when getting helix piercings you shouldnt wear over-the-ears headphone, but i still wore these a week after I got my helix, I cant go without music in public and i hate playing music thru my phone speakers. It didnt irritate my piercings for at least 2-3 hours, which im surprised because my hyperx headphones hurts but these dont.

Great noise cancellation to block out engine hum and surrounding people. Was helpful for reducing the sound of a crying baby. Also produced good sound quality for airline movies. I still like to use the cable to be able to connect without WiFi and it worked great!

It is simply the best for noise canceling and has a sleeker look than even XM5 for me. It is robust and charges very fast and lasts a long time. The multi-device connection is not the best though and sometimes the touch gestures are interpreted in the wrong way. But overall greate product.

Amazing headphones for remote working

All my other headset started to hurt my ear due to my glasses. The sound quality is as good as it gets, and mostly due to the limits on the bluetooth bandwidth. I haven't got a chance to try the lossless streaming, but I doubt the current streaming protocol would suggest the bit rate for a true lossless CD.

They have 4 different options to choose from if you don't want to use noise canceling. Sometimes they randomly disconnect when I am using it but happens very rarely. The battery life is pretty long and it charges pretty quickly (about an hour for a full battery). It used to turn off by itself when left on and unused but now it doesn't do that so just remember to always turn them off when it's not being used.

I find the sound quality is a huge upgrade but the headphones while comfortable can be a bit slippy if you wear them while laying down.

Overall sound quality is awesome, they drown out noise really well and I love that there’s an app where you can I have seen these go on sale from time to time, but I couldn’t wait, They last extremely long without me having to charge frequently which is a big plus.
