Great sound, not so great noise cancelling

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My old, wired QuietComforts had finally come to a time they needed replacing, and I knew I wanted to get a high quality pair of wireless headphones. Sound quality is big for me, and equally important is the noise cancellation since I work in an open office and spend a fair amount of time on flights. While these Sony headphones definitely deliver on sound quality (the app is cool, if not kind of quirky, too), the noise cancellation is not as good as my old QCs. Also, switching Bluetooth between devices is unnecessarily difficult, requiring you to restart the headphones. I don't regret the purchase, but if i could do it again, i think I'd splurge for the XM5s or the QC 700s.

Excellent Noise Cancelling

It is somewhat eery how silent it is when they are turned on and on sound is playing. Good battery life and easy to switch between two devices.

Best headphones I’ve ever tried out!

I just wanna say all the hype behind the noise-canceling on these headphones is legit. As soon as you put them on, almost everything goes completely quiet. I reminds me of those hearing test headphones that do those low tone beeps lol, its that good! Oh, and they sound really good too and have a nice build quality!

I had the previous generation 1000xm3 and I loved them, when I heard that the 1000xm4 was coming out I sold the xm3. I they look more are less the same except a few additions like the on ear sensor that’s inside the left ear cup. The cushion on the top of the headphone is smaller. They also took away the ambient noise control button. Out of the box they sound just as good if not slightly better than the xm3. I love the new features they added like, connecting to two devices at the same time, when you talk the headphones let’s ambient noise, and when you take them off it pauses what ever you’re listening too all in all a great product! I’m more than satisfied.

Before I decided on these, I picked up Bose NC700, and I prefer these over the Bose. I find them more comfortable than the Bose, and they sure sound better to my ears. Highly recommended, especially if you find them at a discount.

I've had them for a bit over a year and they work like they are brand new. At first, they can be a bit tricky to use if you don't find the right settings for you, but once you adjust the settings to your liking and fit, they're the best. I would recommend using and buying when going on walks and to study. The battery lasts so long which is such a plus! 100% charged can last a whole day and sometimes even up to more days depending on the use you give them. I recommend to give them a try!

Although the price had me hesitant, these headphones are definitely worth the money. The sound quality is amazing, they fit great and it took over an hour before sweat became noticeable.
