Theyre more bassy than other headphones in my experience. after about 8 months of having them, they had a few connection issues but that got sorted out by not using them for a bit.

It's good to know you're happy and satisfied with your purchase. By downloading the Sony Headphones Connect app, it lets you adjust your bass levels and gives you sound quality presets. There is even an EQ in there—which can be customized to fine-tune your music to your liking. You can edit the volume of the CLEAR BASS. Increasing the CLEAR BASS setting value allows your headphones to reproduce dynamic deep bass without distortion, even at a high volume. But if you are interested in sound details and audio fidelity these are the headphones for you. Comfortable and easy to use. I definitely recommend them.

Best headphones I've used

The audio quality out of the box is crazy good and I only had to tweak the EQ a tiny bit to get the bass exactly where I wanted it. The muffs do get a little hot after a while and can make my ears sweaty but I usually don't end up using them that long except on flights.

While they band isn’t as comfortable as the xm2, the ear pads are more comfortable since they are lighter. Sound cancellation is better than xm2 but the xm2 was is still a strong comparison in that regard.
