When the headset is connected to an AC outlet or computer, all operations such as turning on the headset, registering or connecting to Bluetooth devices, and music playback cannot be performed. It's unfortunate that you're not having the best experience with these headphones. Make sure to update the software version of the headphones (via the Sony Headphones Connect app) for optimum performance. We appreciate your feedback regarding the noise cancellation of this XM4. Make sure to update the software version of the headphones (via the Sony Headphones Connect app) for optimum performance.

The noise canceling function works primarily on noise in the low frequency band. Although noise is reduced, it is not completely canceled. Adjust the earpad position to fit your ears. In additional to checking all the settings, check that the Adaptive Sound Control is turned off. When the Adaptive Sound Control is turned on, the noise canceling function may become insufficient.
