I cant figure out how to read my notifications- even with the app downloaded. But its not a big deal, I hear the chime for every notification.

About reading notifications aloud, the Sony | Sound Connect app itself does not directly display or read notifications; instead, notification reading is typically managed through your phone’s voice assistant (like Google Assistant or Siri) and their integration with the headphones.
To get notifications read to you, please follow these steps:
-Enable your phone’s voice assistant (Google Assistant for Android, Siri for iPhone).
-In your phone’s settings, allow the voice assistant to read notifications. For Google Assistant, you can customize which apps can send spoken notifications to your headphones.
When a notification arrives, the assistant should read it aloud through your headphones if everything is set up correctly. If not, check that notification access is granted to your voice assistant and that your headphones are selected as the output device.

A game changer for my studies!

The noise cancellation in this headphones are insane. I don’t study outside because its noisy. But now i have no problems studying outside because of this. Plus its cool to wear around. Overall, highly recommended!

Sound is very good also. Tested on Linux, Windows, iPhone and Android. I found only one issue: they have some problems in videogaming with voice chat via Bluetooth (for gaming you need to use separate mike with this headsets connected via cable to keep sound quality and be able to voice chat). Despite this little issue I still very happy to have one.

We cannot guarantee that it will work flawlessly with computer applications. Additionally, the mic function is also disabled when using the supplied headphones cable. Check if your device supports both HFP and HSP, when you make a video call/voice chat on your computer, select calling connections (HFP/HSP) and not music playback connections (A2DP). If you select music playback connections, the microphone/voice chat may not be available. Please note that you will notice a bit of quality difference.

I love the ability to use the chord to connect to the tv on flights (which doesn’t use the battery of the headphones) as well as the wireless capability to connect to my phone or iPad.

Was on a plane using them and I could not hear the sound of the plane. A little expensive but these headphones are amazing so worth the price. I can tell they will last years. Already lasted a year and a half at this point.

Beware of cheap plastic and terrible support.

A long battery life and fast recharging, the noise cancelling is exceptional as is the sound quality. My issues begin with simply taking them off my head after a meeting and hearing two parts hit the ground. The plastic and u clip holding the right ear cup was now on the floor and the earpiece was dangling via the wire, floppy and dead like the brick they had become. I contacted support and was told that they won’t replace them because of "physical damage" These headphones have never been dropped, miss treated in any way, they are treated with the respect that spending 350 bucks should have earned them. I won’t be buying anymore Sony headphones and I certainly regret recommending them to colleagues.

Easy to connect with any device, I like using it for my switch and phone. Noise-canceling works well and has long battery life. I wish it were easier to change settings in IOS like with AirPods and to change settings in the control center, but that is more of an Apple issue rather than a headphone issue.

Good buy for Phone, Not for Computer

You can connect to 2 systems at the same time but can’t actually utilize both at the same time. It will default to whichever is playing audio first. I usually use my work computer and my phone. Switching back and forth is easy enough. Just pause the music on your computer to watch videos on your phone or vice versa. Audio from the computer cuts in and out at times. I had not had that same issues connected other Bluetooth headphones to the computer. All that being said, I bring these with me every single day.

If you take the headphone off it pauses the movie. The noise cancelling is not as good as Bose but a slight increase of volume compensates. Battery life is phenomenal, yes 3-4 movies easy before charge necessary. Recharges swiftly too.
