It is portable and small for easy transport with your laptops. Please note the size of the mouse when you are buying since I had purchased a few of these and when I gave them out to users to use, some had to get used to the size since they were used to bigger mice. Also note that this item goes on sale periodically so check out sales when you purchase it if you can wait.
