    This had everything i wanted in a mouse. I even liked the rechargable feature. However the thumb indent was inset so far it hurt my thumb tendon, so i stopped using it. If your hand is huge you may love it. But for my average man paw it didn't work well.

    typical Logitech device, works well and nothing outstanding about it. though it isn't the most comfortable device for long use, not sure why...it feels like a pretty standard "average human hand" build

    I liked the feel and size of this mouse but for some unknown reason the pads this mouse has on the bottom to glide across things is rough almost like sand paper. I never had a mouse where the pads werent smooth. The rough pads cased drag on the mouse pad and would make it harder to move.

    I had some difficulties getting the mouse set up. Probably software issues with the PC I was using. Mouse doesn't work on any surface. I would use a mouse pad.

      Hi Gordon, thank you for sharing your experience with the M705 Marathon Mouse. I'm sorry that you felt it to be a little heavy. It is not uncommon for a wired mouse with no battery to be lighter than a wireless mouse that requires 2 AA batteries to feel heavier. The M720 wireless mouse has a similar shape as the M705 but only uses 1 AA battery. This could be a nice option for you as it will give you the wireless features with out adding too much weight.     I've always liked Logitech products, but this mouse just didn't work well with my laptop. Movement was very jerky. After using it for a couple weeks, I ended up getting a different Logitech mouse that I'm much happier with (the M325).

    The precision of scroll wheel could be a little more precise. Sometimes the wheel loses connection with web pages and doesn't scroll at all and I have to restart the computer.

    Decent mouse but it's way overpriced and the scrollwheel is too loose and loud. Some people may like the free wheel but I hate it.
