Good camera for FaceTime and Skype calls

If you own a Mac, don't bother

Installed "Camera Settings" from Logitechs website and even their own software wasn't registering the webcam and the camera software kept crashing. FaceTime, Quicktime, Zoom all didn't work. Tired different usb 2.0 and 3.0 ports and 2 different hubs to no avail. Blue light on the camera would turn on but screen remained black. I work with a dual monitor setup with my MBP in clamshell mode which is why I need an external webcam. ***If you have a Mac this is not the camera to buy*** taking it back tomorrow. I contacted Logitech support through their robot support and it said I was gonna be transferred to an agent and that hasn't happened in 2 hours. Waste of my time.

Posted .Hello yazzie! Sorry to hear you've had issues with you C615 HD Webcam. However, this webcam should definitely be working with your 2019 MBP, so let me try to help you out. Here's a quick video tutorial that can guide you on how to operate your Webcam on your Mac: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-d29p3BEPA It shows you the steps where to go to on a Mac to make sure your camera is properly selected for the App you're using. When you see the Blue Light on the webcam turning on, that means the camera is being used by a software or an app, so if you try to open a different software, but camera is already being used by the first one, the second software will show up a black screen.
