Good for Zoom, does not work for video capture

When I tried to use it to record a video, I finally started looking at the software. I dug around and found a user manual online, but the illustrations showed a software console (HD Vid) that I could not find. I unintalled and re-downloaded the Camera Settings software from Logitech, hoping the latest release would offer more. It didn't. Logitech's forums referred me to broken links. I put in a support ticket and got a number, but no instructions as what to do with that number. That was three days ago. I also found Logitech Capture, which looks like a decent video software, but it's engineered to work with the 900 series, not this camera. So, it's not what I need, and I'll be returning it. I also will stay away from Logitech products from now on. The support is woeful. (And my Logitech keyboard just failed, reinforcing my anti-Logotech bias.)

Posted .Hi FifiLaRue, thank you for your feedback! You are correct, the C615 is just a webcam and you would need a software program to use video capturing. Which is indeed a feature with Logitech Options for the upgraded webcam models. - Will, Logitech.
