    Easy Operation Confirmed

Got these for mother-in-law for long distance, web-video calls, and she was able to use them very well. Also easy for us to explain usage over regular phone and for her to understand our explanations. Other, tiny products are more perhaps convenient, but not if the little buttons be tactilely sensed and accessed. The product also performs very well with Bluetooth high quality audio.

    Not For Gaming

Okay, the Bluetooth sound is terrible. I mean garbage. I thought I would use this set between my PS3 and PC. The terrible quality through Bluetooth changed that plan quickly. I did not try them with my PS3, only my PC. However, the included usb wireless adapter worked flawlessly. Sound was great, voice communication was great. Just hurt my head after 40 minutes of use Seems a bit poorly made as well.

Overall a great purchase. I have convinced my co-workers and other virtual team members to buy this as well. Definitely makes communicating easier! Hands free with no worries of eavesdropping.

Two years later, they won't charge

The headset was decent for the time it lasted. It connects with ease. The switch feels cheap. The padding has started to get thin and is on the verge of peeling. 2 years later they no longer charge. Logitech is very strict on the 2 year limit. Just buy higher quality if you want them to last a while.

    When it works, it's ok

I've had three now. They keep stopping for no apparent reason and Logitech won't provide any real support, they just try to RMA them. What happens is they just stop working with a Windows 10 computer. They fail in wi-fi and in bluetooth, they just stop working. Then, a few weeks later, they'll decide to work again. Since they are more comfortable than an old, cheap headset that just keeps working, I use them when they do work, but I'd never suggest anyone buy them.

    Returning Tomorrow...

    Posted .

I purchased this headset earlier today. I have been using Logitech headsets for 10 years... This is the worst one I have ever purchased. It was on sale so I thought I would give it a try. - When plugged into the USB cable the sound is staticy on the right ear where the USB plugs in - The volume down control will not work. All other buttons do work. - Connecting to Ventrilo it will not allow you to use DIRECT SOUND - The box claims it has "LASER TUNED DRIVERS WITH BUILT IN EQUALIZER", this would make you think you can adjust volume with the equalizer right? No such thing - Reading Logitech's forums there are a lot of people experience the problems I have tonight where the mic worked and the sound does not. Restarted the computer and had to unplug the headset and plug it back in for the sound to come back. Only had it plugged in for 2 hours before I had to do this. I read that this is caused buy having speakers and this headset hooked up. I use my headset for chatting and my speakers for all other sounds. This headset does not like this... - Pairing software does not come with the device. You need to go to Logitech's website to get it. This did work and connected quick but should have been included when buying this headset. - Ear pads are spongy and keep in a lot of heat. Ears got very hot very quickly. Uncomfortable.... I will be returning this headset tomorrow. I rarely leave bad reviews on any product I buy but this has been a huge hassle since I purchased this headset.

    Static

Not sure if this was just a unit that missed quality control, but the right speaker had lots of intermittent static. I had to return them, Best Buy gave me no problem at all on the return..

    Features I don't work consistently

I bought this so I could easily toggle between my laptop and my phone because I often run GTMs, use Lync or Skype. But then I get calls on my phone too so I didn't want to have to switch headsets. The bluetooth connection, if it works at all, is usually not quick. it's awkward telling people to please wait while my phone syncs up, and even more awkward when it never connects. Sometimes it won't connect to my pc at all until I reboot. I paid the extra money for this bluetooth compatibility. For me, it's not worth it. I might as well have two separate headsets.

The hassle of wireless isn't worth the money

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Headset is easy to set up out of the box since there is no software to download. I consider myself to have a bigger than average head and I still have room to adjust these bigger. Other than that these are a waste of $80. The sound isn't close to how well my stock iPhone earbuds sound. Every time my computer "sleeps" the headset fails to reconnect on "waking" and reconnecting is tedious. The premium paid for wireless isn't worth the hassle these have been for me. ***Returned***

    Don't bother with this product

4 calls to logitech support: Cannot get the headset to pair to the usb receiver. Called support who directed me to the logitech website to down load the pairing utility driver. Download stalls and does not complete (tried this twice). Got it working via blue tooth. People on the other end of my calls say it sounds like I an in a tunnel (sound not good). Even the logitech support person said it is not good sound from my mic. Calls to tech support get cut off. I think people posting positive reviews are lucky. BTW, I made a second trip to best buy and tried the h540 (usb wired version) which has the same problem with the mic... people on the other end say it sounds like I am talking into a speakerphone from across the room. THis is for my work and I really need a relaible headset. I have spent way too much time on this.and with review, I give up pn Logitech. Will try plantronics next.

Lousy for phone calls. The worst!

Bought this product bec. I wanted a wireless headset with what I had been told by store staff would be good for making phone calls. It has a foldable Mic boom that retracts back behind the headset. Impressions: sound quality for music while "ok" is not quite as good as comparably priced headsets like Skull Candy Hesh or Icon. Or Sony WH. But I wanted a set primarily for phone calls. Sound quality is terrible for making phone calls. If there is the slightest breeze or background noise (AND I MEAN THE SLIGHTEST) your call recipient will Not hear you! I feel misled by Best buy. If I could return them I would.
