If your going to race sims and expect to do well you need a good wheel. I looked at the Thrustmaster T500Rs and the T300 as well. The 500 is not compatible with the PS4 so I had to pass on that one. The T300 was well reviewed but the pedals are garbage compared to the G29. After hearing all of the reliability problems with Thrustmaster and their horrible customer support I went with the G29 and I'm more than happy especially after the $50.00 price drop it's a no brainer.

Just check online reviews of Thrustmasters' (150, 300) and ask yourself if you want your few hundred dollar steering wheel broken within a year (or couple days). Sure, it's gear-driven (not belt-driven) and there's a deadzone in the center, but it's not bad at all, hard to notice when you're having too much fun, but can you say that about a broken steering wheel? No. And this is why I recommend Logitech.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Product was great but when I returned it I was notified I could't get my refund because Best buy allows 3rd party sellers, like ebay or amazon does and they were not responsible and all they could do was a store credit even though I am a BBPC customer. I was completely unaware of this new policy by Best buy. No longer will be doing business with them.
