Little rubber feet on the 2ottom to prevent it from scratching your desk/table. Holds my 23" HP monitor with no problems. I like the little area underneath to put little notebooks and papers. It's a few dollars cheaper at OfficeMax, for the same stand, just under a different brand. hence why only 4 stars for value.
