There is a piece of thin cardboard going around the center and that's it. Everything is pretty much exposed. The 4 rubber feet could easily be missing when you buy this. One of the feet in mine was half missing. It was just broken off. Due to Covid-19 it was placed through my back window at the curbside pickup and I didn't notice the damage until I got home.

Monitor riser works
