There are two in my household and both of them failed. Because they cost near $100, I only bought one. The Surface Pros are only a little over a year old. And 2 chargers fail???? I had to have a charger, so I paid for them. But while this charger works just fine, Microsoft gets a 1 star review for them.

Poor quality cable

The charger works well and the extra USB is very useful, but the cable between charger and tablet twist inside the black plastic cover. Don't know if there are any option/substitute for this charger. For that reason, it is an expensive item. This is the third time for the same tablet. Never had to buy a charger for any other pc I ever owned.
