I prefer to stick with the original chargers for laptops, so this was a must buy. Only 1 star knocked off for price and fragility of the charger, but that's a design complaint aimed at Microsoft for all of their Surface Pros models.

So I chose to just spend the dough and get a real one and it's been great. The original one was lost. If your considering the price of this charger amd the price of a knockoff just factor in 2 or 3 more knockoffs and the inconvience of having to keep ordering one. There is hardly anything in the world that cannot be made a little worse and sold a little cheaper, and those who consider price alone are that man's lawful prey. John Ruskin
