This is a great compact charger. It can be used for traveling or other option other than the larger charger.

Works great for Surface Pro, just what I needed. Charges fast.

the microsoft - surface 65w power supply - black does an adequate job to power my surface laptop. this item is not a very durable and long lasting item from microsoft. it is very costly to replace but it needs to be replaced every so often. users, be very gentle with the end plug-in ( the end that plugs into the laptop) because the thin wire frays very easily and quickly, rendering it unuseable. you will then have to fork over another pile of money to replace the charger.

The price was reasonable and the quality was great.

We lost our charger and thought we needed one certain kind. Talked with staff at Best Buy. They walked us through what we needed and we bought it. Got home and it worked perfectly!

The pins on Surface chargers are somewhat fragile and it takes very little to damage them - the price for simplicity. This charger was not expensive, arrived quickly and worked right away without any need to try to find minute pieces of the old charger or any other tedious process. If you have a Surface PC in an environment where the cord might get yanked out - kids, pets, clumsy people around you - buy this as a spare and never chance being in a position of having a dead battery and waiting for the replacement.

I thought it was a little expensive, but I'd rather spend the money and get a quality product.

So far, so good. I purchased this because the one I received with my surface book 2 did not last very long. It stopped registering reliably with the computer. I would have to remove and reconnect numerous times and sometimes that didn’t even resolve the issue. And sometimes when it was connected it would just stop charging without my knowing. I was afraid I would get stuck in the middle of a project and not have any power left. Well, this is the same manufacturer, so I am hoping it does not have the same issues, and of course it doesn’t tell you if they fixed the issue with this charger, so who knows! Expensive, But so far, so good.

This was a replacement cord for the cord I lost (there was nothing wrong with the other cord before I lost it). The cord is especially indispensable given how sucky battery life is on my SP4. The charger itself is durable, compact and stores easily. It does exactly what it's supposed to with two fairly minor quibbles. First, it seems a little pricey for a wall charger. There are non-OEM wall chargers to be had at a much lower price point elsewhere. However, as with such things: Caveat Emptor. Second, the USB port on the powerblock is incapable of charging my Google Nexus phone. Overall pleased with purchase. Just a little bummed that I lost the first wall charger.

I recently had to replace my replacement charger which only lasted a year for my Microsoft Surface Pro because the part that connects to the pad had a crack in the wiring and would not consistently charge. This new charger is from Microsoft and seems to have thicker insulation on that wire and I am glad that i purchased the charger made by Microsoft.

As usual I' lost my charger behind and at Best Buy they got me the right one within minutes. It works so well I decided to keep it even after I found the first one.

Works exactly as intended. No frills, no problems.
