I stopped at best buy to price shop. The customer service associate was so helpful. I bought both. I have used this mixer many times . I haven't used my hand mixer since. Its nice to let the mixer mix while pouring the ingredients. Easy to use,assemble and clean.

Awesome for the wife

The only meh we have about it is the latch on the back of the bowl. It locks the bowl into place while mixing but it's kind of a pain to pull.

This seems to do a better job due to the larger motor. I've been using it to prep masa for tortillas and tamales, as well as cookie dough and bread dough. 0 issues so far. I tried making guacamole for it just for kicks but I definitely recommend the pour guard or a towel if you plan on doing that. Overall I'm happy with this purchase.

Best mixer ever!

It still works well and has been well used. I decided to upgrade and am very happy with the bowl-lift style. It handles stiff doughs much better and the larger bowl is more convenient to add ingredients and scrape. I have been a baker for 50 years and gifted myself this mixer. I love it!
