Wonderful, powerful mixer that has helped in many baking projects. My only complaint is that the sound while the mixer is running is louder than you'd expect it to be and is pretty shrill. This mixer meets all my expectations except for the sound.

I bought the KitchenAid standing mixer as a gift to one of my grown children based on my long experience with my own which I received as a gift at my bridal shower 30+ years ago. It has a classic appearance and it does everything I could want and more. My son enjoys cooking and baking and is finding out the items he wants in his own kitchen. He was so excited to open this gift at Christmas! He'll have many years of excellent service with it. I can't recommend this mixer more. I'd replace mine for a different color but I really don't need to because it just keeps going!

You can beet the quality and versatility of the Kitchenaid Professional 500 Mixer. It has a grete capacity than the smaller models and can handle some heavy duty mixing of some tough batter!

It's good. I wish it came with attachments that could be washed in the dishwasher. I also wish the attachments would scrape the bowl clean; I know there are aftermarket ones that can be purchased. Sturdy unit and quality you'd expect from KitchenAid.

I have this mixer; so I purchased another for my daughter. Also bought one for my brother. You just can't go wrong with this appliance. Mixes the toughest of recipes with the slightest of ease.
