This is my 1st Professional Stand mixer. I have 2 complaints about both stand mixers: 1) everything seems to splash out of the mixing bowl when in use,I purchase a shield but it doesn't really help, so now I use a kitchen towel to cover the mixer while in use, works great. 2) there is always unmixed food product at the bottom of the mixing bowl, so I have to continually stop the mixer to scrape the bottom of the mixing bowl to make sure everything is incorporated.

The only thing it’s missing is the tilt option which costs an extra couple hundred dollars. We are happy with the value and the available attachments on this unit

Sometimes you need to turn the switch on and off a couple of times to get it to begin mixing. The bowl is difficult to get on. It seems to mix okay, although I've yet to fine a shield that fits. I wish one was included. I purchased this to replace one that was around 15 years old and had a smaller capacity, and this one is disappointing compared to that one.
