This Kitchen Aid Mixer does everything & anything you can imagine. The additional accessories that were included with it are usually $49.99 just by themselves. This is truly an outstanding value in itself. Many other stores carry Kitchen Aid , but not this professional model & for the excellent price offered by Best Buy. Actually this is such a value I purchased another to give as a gift.

The bowl size is nice and big and deep. Great for almost any mixing project

I've read so much about these mixers over the past few years but never decided to invest in one. Finally, I settled with this one. A few regrets: I wish I'd paid more attention to the fact that this thing does NOT reach the sides at all, or the very bottom of the bowl. It would be fine if it was easy to scrape the sides and bottom into the mixture and turn it back on, but this one doesn't tilt backward, so I still haven't figured out an easy way of taking off the mixing attachment to move around the product inside. The worst part is having to turn it off and remove the mixing attachment before removing the bowl. Pulling the mixing attachment down an inch means putting it back into the product and having to scrape it all off again. I would have preferred a machine that tilted, but that's my bad. Further, id prefer that a $200 machine come with a scraper attachment for the mixer that I see on sale nowadays. It does its job, and I no longer use a mixing machine by hand, but it's frustrating to say the least

This KitchenAid mixer is very user friendly and helps make baking so much easier!

I have always had the tilt version with a smaller bowl. This took some getting used to as the bowl lock is totally different. Once I mastered that I could enjoy the smoothness of the actually machine. Great machine, it's a kithenAid after all!

I bought this mixer to replace my KitchenAid Artisan Mixer, which broke its gears after two weeks of ownership - using the food processor attachment to dice carrots. This mixer seems to have a much sturdier build and doesn’t seem to have any issues running any of the attachments. My only complaint is that I wish the bowl had a bit more travel between up and down positions- to make it easier to change between the mixing spade and dough hook, without having to remove the bowl.
